Watch this video and one sees the human in that ape, how ridiculous we look when brandishing a weapon, how dangerous we are to those around us.
One also realizes how we come across to anyone looking in on our planet — how we’re regarded by any given alien life form, or ‘God’ i.e. by whatever entity watching over us (let’s assume there’s something out there, for the sake of this exercise). Much as we’d like to think that the one(s) presumably watching over us have our best interests at heart, they’re probably more like anthropologists and zoologists, peering in on some secluded life form going apeshit crazy on a remote island in space.
