Everything – including the seemingly wasteful – can be turned into something positive and useful.
All it takes is a little effort on all sides. And a little patience. And a little faith in those involved. And lots of hard work. And the ability to adapt to the challenges and make inroads where and when it matters.
It would be lovely if it were this easy, of course. If only life were so uncomplicated. But the reality is that to get from A to X, it takes a whole lot more than a couple of comic strip boxes. There’s a big part missing here, and it’s the part that makes the difference – which we forget all too easily in our effort to make good out of whatever troubles us. We thrive on good vibes and optimism, an open attitude and wishful thinking, but the way ahead involves plain old commitment, continuity, and hard work.
Still, it’s comforting to know how it turns out when we truly give it a chance. The nutshell is too convenient, but it serves a purpose: to show us the way when we have doubts, and keep us focused for the duration of the journey.
