When entering the Gorge, leave behind all preconceptions. Let yourself be carried off on a stream of consciousness that tickles the heavens as readily as it grinds down stone.

The Man, The Boy And The Ring (I See Dead People)

A little boy filled with fear

Prays to God for his life dear

The cold sets in

He’s not alone

And in his eyes

The truth is shown

Has he been gifted with a sense

That shall deprive him of all sense?

Perhaps the gift is but a curse

A malady that could get worse

A mother cries in disbelief —

Her life devoid of all but grief —

Her son’s been branded weird and ‘freak’;

Her will is strong, her heart is weak

The late departed never did;

They stayed behind, they played and hid

To make amends for what went wrong

And close the circle they had drawn

The man has passed his insight on,

The boy, redeemed, will rise at dawn

And as the wedding ring falls down

The man departs without a sound
