The honest man practises and preaches love for those he loves and cares for and represents, and also practises and preaches the destruction of whatever destroys him so he and those he loves and cares for and represents may survive and thrive.
The practical man does all of the above except preach destruction. He merely practises it, quietly, in between the lines, under the guise and cover of the love he preaches and practises, because he knows that appearances matter.
Appearances matter a great deal.
Needless to say that the practical man wins in the long run.
