To its benefit, some of religion’s most popular parables are in tune with the world’s workings. Noah’s Ark is one of them.
Dear believers, when castigating the notion of elitism, look back to the story of Noah’s Ark and remember that as per God’s instructions, Noah allowed only two animals of each species aboard his vessel. Two! The rest were left behind to die. Why? Because to reboot the crooked world properly, every single animal (and human) had to perish, all except the best two of the lot, whose duty was to survive and repopulate the earth.
Quite elitist, wasn’t it? Yep, it was, and it’s in the Bible.
