The Metropol Parasol is located in Seville, Spain, in la Plaza de la Encarnacion, and was completed earlier in the spring of 2011.
Designed by Jurgen Mayer H. Architects, it’s the largest wooden structure in the world, providing shelter and shade over the square – a giant parasol against the weather – as well as the opportunity to walk through its inspired honeycombed design while enjoying the town view.
