‘Consume at a consumable rate and you can go all the way.’
Go all the way. A glorious path to a glorious ending, whatever the demise. The end of the line looms inevitable where man or woman meet their limits, advancing in a manner that keeps piling shit up without the danger of an overdose. Stay within yourself and you have a chance to prolong your stay in this world.
Flirt with the edge, on the other hand, tamper with your natural pace, and you might just meet your end quicker than you think.
Then again, throwing caution to the wind and going out with a bang, having lived a full life from the start, may not be such a bad idea after all.
Or, as the wind whispers during the summer dawn, when the dew is fresh and sparkling:
‘Imbibe at pace that consumes you and you will imbibe until you die.’
True, and not sad at all. In fact, it’s kind of amazing.
