Kurosawa’s Dreams is a feast of visionary storytelling, both contextual and visual, of human nature in the past, present, and future, in a land morphing under transient seasons and passing elements, in a world where humankind and nature meet.

Here’s a clip from the fifth film in the collection, ‘Crows.’ It’s based on the famous but at-the-time maligned artist Vincent Van Gogh whose vision of the world had a major impact on the art movement of 19th- and 20th-century Europe.
